The Losers Live Action Movie

A live action movie adaptation of The Losers, the DC comic book, is being filmed. The movie is directed by Sylvain White and is starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Idris Elba, Chris Evans, Oscar Jaenada, Columbus Short, Zoe Saldana, Jason Patric and Holt McCallany. The Losers movie will hit theaters on April 9, 2010.

Here's a first look at the Losers:

Plot:
"The Losers are a special black-ops team whose members originated from several different branches of the military. In their own units, each one of them at some point or another lost a soldier under their command, hence they dubbed themselves ‘The Losers’.
After being betrayed and left for dead, the team root out those who targeted them for assassination."

Movie Cast:
- Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Colonel Franklin Clay, the Leader, easily identified by a consistent use of black suits without tie
- Columbus Short as Pooch, the pilot, identifiable by his shaved head and laid-back appearance
- Chris Evans as Jensen, the hacker, characterized by his spiky blonde hair, glasses and a conspicuous beard on his chin.
- Idris Elba as Roque, the second-in-command, easily identified by the large, vertical scar down the right side of his face and icy demeanor.
- Zoe Saldana as Aisha, the loose cannon, identified by her eyebrow piercing and tied-back hair
- Oscar Jaenada as Cougar, the sniper, identified by his cowboy hat and haunted demeanor.

They have hired the right ensemble cast for the Losers movie! Not only those actors do fit the descriptions of their respective characters, but they're also all talented actors. So I have good hope that this live action Losers movie is going to be a hit!
